Founded on November 20, 2006, Dyznamic.com was started on a prayer after yet another senseless killing linked to the constant exposure to violence through televison, media and music. Marcus J. Dupree began praying to god on how to reach young people and show them there is a greater purpose for them and someone loves them, and there is positive music and media outlets. Since the beginning of the hip hop movement it has been a love of mine for years, but instead of exposing the youth I wanted to empower them to be more like Christ and less like the world. My prayers were answered through the vision that is Dyznamic.Com.
The purpose of Dyznamic.com is to help change the lives of young people through great Christian music and positive influences and outlets concerning Christ Jesus.
Since the birth of Dyznamic.com the lord has blessed my efforts tremendously, the first show started out with two listeners, by the third show there was one hundred and eighteen listeners, by the seventh show there were over a thousand and now each Sunday listener base exceeds seven thousand. Recently I was invited as a media representative for the 2008 holy hip hop awards. Since then the blessings continue this goes to show you as I always say “With god first in your life the results are Dynamic”.
The show airs all over the world with listeners from United States all the way to China, my dream is to become the first holy hip hop Fm or satellite radio station, anything is possible with god. I am often questioned as to why I have a Christian holy hip hop format.
My response to that question is god made all music for the soul purpose of worship. So if its not uplifting god then what’s the purpose. Many of the artists I play are the same people I’m trying to reach. I have a passion to help artists get out there so we can take back real hip hop and the youth for Christ, and help heal and not hurt by sending a positive message over the air waves in both t.v. and radio.
I think the most segregated time is on Sunday morning where we separate and go to churches where we feel comfortable with people of our own color just as in the music we separate the gospel genres. My vision is to stop the separation because if we think about it we serve the same god so why can’t we worship together.
One of my favorite scriptures is Luke 18:27 and he said the things which are impossible with men are possible with god. Pray with me that as a people we put god first in everything we do so that those things that seem impossible can be made possible. For example: that Christian hip hop would play on an FM radio station or that on Sunday morning there could be one church serving one god.
My final thought is this: If we want change it has to make sense and putting god first makes sense therefore results in change. For more information log onto www.dyznamic.com.
